perhaps the thought of making her stay
is not a good idea
of turning the lonely moon into bright stars,
or the dark sky
to reappear with flashing daydreams of her childhood that I’ve never experienced,
but perhaps She could be the sweetest.
maybe the sound of her laughter is far way lovelier
when she is close to her lover;
perhaps the kind of happiness that she feels is not measured by time or day
or anyone can fathom when she is silently holding her smile reserved only to the people she had met two or three years ago,
and perhaps She could be the sweetest.
she might not speak to me about her inner voices
her plans,
her fears,
her aspirations
and big time dreams
of the countries she’s been wanting to visit
or the movies she’s failed to see,
but perhaps She could be the sweetest.
we might not walk as a couple along
the busy streets of the city
searching for her favorite food
or the shoes that she really wants to buy
but perhaps She could be sweetest.
She could be the sweetest,
among the beautiful sunsets I have seen;
greater than what I had given to my past
or perhaps lovelier than any other things created by God.
She could be the sweetest thing I know now in my life.
for a second that contains an eternity
I surrender my existence to this lingering memory:
of the cold coffee,
I’ve been wanting to vanish
with the lasting feeling
I’ve been wanting to erase.
for a second that contains an eternity
I face death inch by inch
and to suffer while you’re gone
is a mess
I’ve been praying and wanting to release.
for a second that contains an eternity
I taste the lies of forever,
the happiness and hate of this world;
and now that time forbids us to be another two,
let that second contain me and you.
I had this weird dream last night. Though I’m not sure if it’s already bright outside, I vividly remember the dream:
The boss welcomed me at the office and led me toward my new workstation. We were walking outside, across the vast field of green grass and underneath the sunny sky, when the boss had me seated to a computer station in the middle of an open field. There were countless of PCs situated under a tent, and I saw some students playing DOTA and other online games. It was weird. After lunch time, I got back to my new station and realized that I was missing something or someone. I discovered it was you. I quickly checked if you’re online, and apparently you were available, but I couldn’t find you anywhere. My eyes tried to find your image, but I was left with no avail. I woke up and thought about you.
It was only after 10 today when I figured out the meaning of my dream.
Ayun, natulak yata nung lighter. Sayang no? Iniisip ko na lang may nangangailangan talaga nung pera nung time na yun.
Babae: Okay lang yan. Ako nga nalaglagan ng panty nung makilala kita eh.
